We have terrible north winds on the plains of Colorado. I keep out a flag by my mailbox which is by the street, and my flag was always getting blown into a twisted wad of fabric around the flag holder. I put one ball on each of the bottom corners so using two of the weights. We had a winter storm this week and I noticed the ball part of my weights were missing. They were dropped in the snow below. They didn’t break, the loop of metal where the weights attach to the clips just expanded and the balls fell off. I was able to put the balls back on the loops and this time, squeezed them closed so there wasn’t a gap. This is a terrific product. I’ve only had to fix my flag one time other than this one so they work as designed!! You can’t expect them to be flawless in below zero temps with 20mph winds! I’m impressed they held up!
