The 2Pcs Ignition Coil Connector Pigtail Harness CU2Z-14S411-AFA is a reliable replacement part designed for Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine and others. The connectors are made just like the OEM ones but a lot cheaper. Make sure you look at your connectors to see if they’re style 1 (symmetric black) or style 2 (asymmetric grey). I broke one of the ignition coil connectors on my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport while changing out the spark plugs. The plastic gets brittle after 100k miles. They were style 2 and this connector fits perfectly.This harness ensures a secure and efficient connection for the ignition system. My wires were good and just one of the connectors broke, so I just took apart the old and new connectors and swapped them. These are super easy to take apart. Take the back black insert out by prying with a precision flat-head screwdriver. Take the front white insert out by sticking two flat connector depinning tools or precision flat-heads into the slots on the sides and prying it out with another flathead. You can then easily see and access the tabs keeping the wire terminals in. Put it all back together with the new connector.The new connector fits solidly onto the ignition coil. There should not be any misfires from loose connectors. This should last another 100k miles barring any spark plug or ignition coil failures.
