By extending the beams from 84 to 92 inches outside tire-to-tire, the kit creates the track width and geometry required for proper long-travel front suspension. Equal-length beams eliminate the unequal scrub radius and inconsistent camber change that the factory offset I-beam design introduces at extended travel. The result is a front suspension that behaves predictably through the full travel range — critical for high-speed desert use.
