Bubble Midge – Brown

This trout fly can be extremely effective in brown because it resembles another color that you can find nymphs in your stream. Blue winged olive mayfly nymphs can often take on a reddish brown in the spring making this fishing fly a great choice. Replicating an emerging insect this pattern is great to fish just before a hatch when emerging naturals will be the most abundant. This fishing fly can be fished by itself on a dead drift effectively or with a dry fly.
