Brassie – Bead Nymph

This fishing fly is a fantastic attractor pattern that can imitate a lot of different aquatic insects. Because of its slender and minimal body it is a great midge or mayfly nymph or emerger imitation. In addition to having a great profile for smaller insects this pattern also sinks quickly, getting in front of the fish faster where it needs to be. The pattern is truly a classic fishing fly that can be fished as a nymph under and indicator or simply as emerger dry fly fished in the film.
