On my Harley 750 Street where my custom pipe connects to the standard pipe got super hot. It is right by my ankle and i like to ride in short and slides. i was always getting some pretty good burns on my right leg. I was trying to figure out how to keep my pipe from burning my leg. I saw this and thought it might work, so i installed it and it worked perfectly. I can lean my whole calf against it and all i can feel is a slight warm feeling. What was cool i have a short loud pipe in black. i installed heat shield right by my ankle and it actually looks like the baffle on a AK riffle. it was a surprising good look and unexpected.
