Johnsen’s 4688-8-12PK Octane Booster – 6 Oz., (Pack of 12)

My 2024 Volvo requires 91 octane, as did my two previous Volvos ( model years 2021 and 2014). I do not have to tell you the difference in price between “regular” and “premium.” Here in the midwest our “regular” is usually 87 RON, mid grade 89 and premium 93 when buying a “top tier” fuel. As mentioned, my car requires 91.I have found the sweet spot is to buy mid grade and add an octane booster. I’ve found Johnsons’ to work as well as any and the bottle can be resealed if only a half a bottle is need. The claim is a 2 point boost using a 12 ounce bottle in 20 gallons of gasoline. I do not run my tanks to empty and can typically use a half a bottle or so a time and the cap seals tightly to keep the unused contained.I’ve tried several brands and Johnsons is my preferred brand. My car responds positively and my fuel mileage seems to be the best when I use the mid-grade with octane booster.
