I have been very satisfied with the Auburn Traction devices over the years, in Fact, it’s all I buy. The Ected Max is awesome. Auburn recommends you only use this additive in all of their products, and I have, Ford, recommends you only use their additive in all of their products and I have and so on. I can’t tell you it will be ok if you use something other than what the MFG recommends. The price of either one of these additives are very high and they know it. They will say it’s because they work. Well, they do; but so do others.!
