Founded in 1884, in St. Imier, Switzerland by Léon Breitling, the brand is known for creating high quality watches and chronometers predominantly made with aviators in mind. The Navitimer collection was founded in the 1950s when the US Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association asked Breitling to create a new chronograph for it’s members. Ref: A4533010
