Bubble Midge – Gray

The grey variation of the Bubble Midge fishing fly is a great choice during a blue wing olive mayfly hatch or even a midge hatch. Often blue wing olive mayflies take on a greyish tone in the fall making this a great pattern to switch to when fish are looking up. Truly a great trout fly because of its versatility though, the grey variation can be used during a blizzard midge hatch on your favorite tailwater. Subtle changes in your fly can often make a big difference in these conditions.
